The Hood Arborists LLC is a BIPOC owner tree stewardship business dedicated to advocating and caring for our urban forest with communities that need it most. We focus our efforts on empowering and strengthening our neighborhoods through education, work opportunities, youth engagement opportunities, and intentional and restorative tree care.

The Hood Arborists LLC are based in Tucson and work primarily with urban trees, specializing in the care of native Sonoran desert trees. We aim to bridge the gab between ancestral practices and knowledge with the latest tree care research, and cultivate safe spaces for underrepresented people to have agency over their community forest and build skills that encourage autonomy.
